Driven to infuse each creative encounter with joy-inducing laughter, (em)powerhouse Dre Brown seeks to promote joy, self-care, motivated creative passion, & wellness-centered transformation. A former Television media pro & celebrity makeup artist, Dre leapt into entrepreneurship in 2013 to build a business advocating marginalized groups in partnership with media & wellness brands via creative & strategic experiential design, editorial thought leadership, public speaking, & transformative workshop facilitation.
Dre's footprint extends via her work as a curriculum consultant & nationwide educator for the DoveⓇ Self-Esteem Project. Dre has also amplified her voice as an inspirational beauty & lifestyle thought-leader, sharing unique insights and tools via an editorial highlight in Black Enterprise Magazine, guest features on several popular empowerment podcasts including Switch, Pivot, or Quit, Let's Change Beauty with Jess Weiner, The Hello7 Podcast, and Your Next Move with Kimberly Brown, and through host/facilitator roles across the U.S. in partnership with The United Nations, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Girl Scouts, Summit21, Essence Festival, She Leads, Mom 2.0, The MastHERclass, The Female Quotient, The Rooted Collaborative, Hello7, and Black Girls Tennis Club.

additionally, Beginning in 2024, Dre launched her own content brand with Instagram Live Series/Podcast While You Were LeapingⓇ, dedicated to sharing often unheard stories of dream-chasing “leapers” recounting some of the laughs and lessons experienced during their biggest bets on themselves and their dreams. From exploring humbling side hustles and mental health journeys to surprising tools of triumph, Dre uses her signature approachable humor to achieve her goal of normalizing “joyful risk-taking” in pursuit of our fullest possible lives.
When she's not working to produce content she believes represents women and marginalized communities authentically and inclusively, or empowerment speaking, Dre pays forward her appreciation for the arts and passion for youth engagement as a member of the Board of Trustees for The Dorill Initiative -- a non-profit organization founded to uplift overlooked and underestimated young people in New York City via artistic & creative expression, academic enrichment, and civic & community engagement.
